Drive along the Sorrento coast and enjoy the view of the Gulf of Naples on the road to Pompeii. In Pompeii, we will explore the fantastic remains of this extraordinary city, immortalized by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD. . Pompeii is world famous for the site’s exceptional relics, buildings and infrastructure.
Enjoy a 2-hour guided tour of the excavations with an expert and licensed local guide: discover the life of the ancient Romans, see the main public monuments, the Forum and some houses of the ruins of Pompeii.
From the excavations of Pompeii we take the bus to go to the slopes of Vesuvius.
The stop for lunch is at the Bosco de’ Medici winery. A short walk in the winery will be followed by a delicious lunch based on typical products found in the region. Lunch will be accompanied by a tasting of paired wines.
Once the lunch is finished, you return to Sorrento to your accommodation or meeting point.
